Exhibition of works by the Community Self-Help House OSOBLIWOŚCI

We cordially invite you to an exhibition of works by participants of the Community Self-Help Center in Bornem Sulinowo entitled. "PERSONALITIES", which will take place on April 28, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Art Gallery of the Municipal Public Library. The exhibition will feature art and handicraft works made using various techniques during therapy - painting, ceramics, embroidery, diamond mosaic, pyrography or linocut. In each of them the creators put a lot of effort and heart. The variety of works testifies to the versatile skills and creativity of the artists. The Community Self-Help Center is a day support center for people with mental disorders (type A), intellectual disabilities (type B) and those indicating other chronic mental disorders (type C). The center is attended by 40 people. The facility provides services in self-care training and social skills training, consisting of learning, developing and maintaining skills necessary for independent living and functioning in social life. Participation in occupational therapies mobilizes people to take action, acquire new skills and direct their attention to themselves. Occupational therapy gives each participant a chance to actively participate in a form of creativity that suits his or her individual abilities. Therapy activities are tailored to the needs of each participant so that they willingly perform them. As a result, some actively develop their passions!
