Volodia Project: "Murmured Histories of Urban Folklore".

The band "Project Volodia" is a unique musical group that has gained recognition for its innovative approach to the works of, among others, Vladimir Vysotsky, Stanislav Grzesiuk and the rich collection of Lviv songs. The name of the band, which was formed in 2007 - is a tribute to one of the most outstanding, contesting bards Vladimir Vysotsky - called among friends: "Volodya". The band has six albums to its credit, of which "Songs of V. Vysotsky," "Postcard from Lviv," and "Project Volodia plays Grzesiuk" were well received by music journalists and leading radio stations. The concert "Szemrane Historie Folkloru Ulicznego" is a collection of songs included on the albums: "Project Volodia plays Grzesiuk" and "Postcard from Lviv". - Warsaw and Lviv songs - the most sung cities of pre-war Poland.The subject matter of these songs, called arranged in a bravura and specific to the band way, while maintaining their own unique sound - will allow listeners to feel the atmosphere of the suburban streets of the capital and Lviv, while getting to know new "faces" of these sometimes forgotten songs.The music of Projekt Volodia is an unusual combination of tradition and modern sounds, creating a harmonious and unique whole.
