As part of the 7th meeting of the Senior Academy of the Maritime Science Center, we invite you to a unique lecture by one of the most important Szczecin documentary filmmakers of the 20th century - Zbigniew Wroblewski, who will take us on a sentimental journey through Szczecin from several decades ago - a city that no longer exists. We will see its streets, faces and important events captured in the frame: The Festival of Young Talents, the dramatic events of December '70, the groundbreaking August '80 and the profiles of the famous Sorrento Boys. It will be a unique meeting with history, emotions and images that stopped time. Zbigniew Wróblewski - photographer, filmmaker, passionate about history and city life - has been documenting reality with extraordinary sensitivity for years. A graduate of COMUK's Studio of Photography and Film, he specializes in reportage and documentary photography. His works have been presented both in Poland and abroad - including France, Great Britain and Sri Lanka. For decades associated with the Szczecin photographic environment as a president, instructor, curator and animator of culture, Wróblewski not only creates, but also shares his knowledge, inspiring successive generations of photography enthusiasts. We invite you to the meeting on 29.04.2025 at 14:00 to the Conference Room of the Marine Science Center (1st floor).
