"Among so many roads..." - A concert celebrating 65 years of artistic work of the Police Folk Group "Balbiny"

A unique encounter with local folklore, folk and feast songs and traditional Polish dances is invited by "Balbiny," which is celebrating an incredible 65th anniversary this year. The group, which has been in continuous operation since 1959, has countless concerts, both at home and abroad, tours in Italy, France, Greece or Germany, as well as numerous prizes and awards in provincial and national folklore competitions. Members of the group, under the direction of Dariusz Skrobani, share their love of singing with great passion and commitment, cultivating local folklore and passing on its richness and diversity to future generations. They wish to pass on their love of tradition and history to the region's residents during the anniversary concert, pouring graceful melodies, commonly known songs, but also somewhat forgotten pieces into the hearts of listeners. The band will be accompanied on stage by members of the "Policzanie" Song and Dance Ensemble, led by Roman Korczakowski, and children from the "Sailors" group from the Public Kindergarten No. 5 in Police.
