Wioska Zdrowego Życia [The Village of Healthy Lifestyle]

The Village of Healthy Lifestyle is one of the thematic villages created within the framework of a project, the purpose of which was to revive the village and integrate the local population around a given topic. In Dąbrowa the main motif is healthy lifestyle. The village is famous for its home-made culinary products prepared by the residents in accordance with recipes passed on from generation to generation. The delicacies are strongly related with the nature around the village which is untouched by civilization.

For organized groups it is possible to visit educational farms and the surroundings. Within the program of such a trip visitors can get to know old weights and measures, herbal lessons and demonstrations of casting products from tin, among others. At a small market offering products from Dąbrowa everyone can taste and purchase local delicacies, e.g. dandelion honey, pine syrup, meat products and herbs. There is also an educational and nature path prepared for visitors, as well as a possibility to sightsee the church which constitutes a part of the Pomeranian Cistercian Route.
