The 34 m high red brick water tower was built in 1935 to equalize pressure in the town water mains. It was decommissioned in 1996.

The water tower was constructed in 1935 within area of a water intake. The water was drawn with the use of a deep-well pump. The tower was used to store excess water from the municipal water supply network and even the pressure in the network. The tower is rectangular in plan and it is made of red bricks. At the top there is a metal structure with the coat of arms of Goleniów. The tower is 34 m tall. In 1945 the tower suffered damage, but it was not serious and it did not affect its functionality. The building was renovated in 1992, but it served its function only for the next four years.
