Bucierz Duży Lake

The lake, alternately called Bucierz and Bucierz Duży, with an area of 150 hectares, is located in the area of the Drawsko training ground - to the south of the lake is the largest tactical strip of the training ground, and to the west lies the Ziemsko military airfield. The average depth of the lake is 10.6 meters, and at its deepest point it is 29.1 meters deep. The purity class of the lake is rated Grade II, which means that the waters of Lake Bucierz are clean and conducive to relaxation and fishing. Due to its location, it is often used by soldiers for exercises and crossings. The beach, designed for tourists to relax and take sun and water baths, is located on the southwestern edge of the lake, in Oleszno. The waters of Lake Bucierz are under the management of the Zlocieniec Fishing Enterprise, so a card must be purchased to fish. Fishing is possible from the shore and from a boat, except on the eastern shore - fishing is prohibited there. In the waters you can meet, for example: perch and pike, sometimes of considerable size.
