Neu Heinde bathing area

Neu Heinde is a district of Prebberede. It was formed from the villages of Klein Bützin, Neu Krug and the Neu Heinde estate and has been registered under the name Neu Heinde since 1810. The village is located around 30 km south of Rostock - very conveniently situated between the towns of Güstrow, Laage and Teterow.

Swimming is possible in the small and large Neu Heindener See lakes. Both lakes are close to each other near the town. The bathing areas with jetties are located on the eastern shore.

The water is very clean, freshwater snails and fish are happy, the shores and lakes are picturesquely situated in a beautiful landscape. The sandy, soft bathing areas lead shallowly into the water and are particularly suitable for small children. Parts of the water areas are interspersed with lush aquatic plants. There is plenty of space for free swimmers. The sunbathing lawns and jetties invite you to linger and picnic, with the sun setting over the lakes in the evening.
