Szczecin - former Municipal Theatre

Archival photograph showing the Municipal Theatre – in its years of existence, it was considered one of the most modern facilities in Germany at the time. It was slightly damaged during the Second World War and, despite the chances of reconstruction, it was demolished in 1954. To the left is the Church of Saints Peter and Paul and to the right is the tower of the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle.
